 Chain of Hope: Anti-Drug Human Chain by M.S.I. School


Kundoor: In connection with the International Day Against Drug Abuse on June 26, the students of M.S.I. Higher Secondary School formed a human chain at Athanikkal, Kundoor, as a protest against drug use. Students stood on both sides of the road chanting anti-drug slogans.


The event was inaugurated by M.S.I. school official K. Kunjumarakar. Student representative Fida led the anti-drug pledge, while another student, Sana, delivered the anti-drug day message.


PTA representatives including Secretary Ali Haji, Vice President Muhammad Haji K, PTA President Moosa Pathoor, and Vice President Salam, along with the school Principal Sirajudeen T.K., Sadar Abdul Ghafoor Badari, and Abu Master, led the awareness march.


A street play presented by the Girl Guides students drew much attention. Other highlights of the event included a Scouts and Guides parade, cycle rally, skating ride, karate show, and distribution of leaflets.


Dr. Radhika Nair, psychologist from Kottakkal Almas Hospital, conducted an awareness class.


The program was coordinated by conveners Mubeena Teacher, Abdul Hameed Master, Sheeja Teacher, Malik Hudavi, Reem, Shahala, Ameen Hudavi, Arif Faizi, Sufira, Santhosh, Sajna, and Souda Beevi. All class teachers actively participated and supported the various events.
